Meet the Family
Twenty-one years ago, Chris met his wife, Lainey, on a bus in Sydney, Australia. After riding the bus a mile past his stop to get her phone number, Chris quickly wooed her with his good manners and intellect. Their shared love of politics brought them to Capitol Hill, where they spent a combined decade working as Congressional Staff in various roles. While working for Congressman Doug Lamborn (CO-5), Chris proposed, and they were married in 2007. Their first son, Ramsey, was born in 2009, and their second, Madoc, joined the family in 2016.
Public Service
Chris and Lainey both worked in Congress for several years. Lainey worked for a Representative, a Senator, the Energy and Commerce Committee, and the Science Space, and Technology Committee. Chris worked for a member of Congress from Pennsylvania and Doug Lamborn, who represents Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. While working as Chief of Staff to Mr. Lamborn, Chris moved the family to CO, and he commuted to Washington, DC whenver Congress was in session and at times even during District Work periods.
