Meet Chris
Chris Phelen for Congress Image Gallery
Honest. Experienced. Authentic. Chris has the skills and know-how to succeed in accomplishing the goals of the people of the 4th District. After spending two decades working on Capitol Hill, starting his own business in the private sector, and establishing deep roots in Douglas County, Colorado, Chris has a real understanding of the needs of Coloradans.
Honest in his word and careful in his promises, you can rest assured that his decisions in the House of Representatives will match his rhetoric and the ideology of those he represents: for man is nothing without his word.
In leading and advising the office, Chris has a proven record of decreasing taxes, limiting the Federal government, and strengthening the Nation’s Defense on the House Armed Services Committee.
After graduating from Law School, Chris started his career as a public servant in 2005. Through hard work and perseverance, he rose from the lowest position in a Congressional office to the highest position, Chief of Staff, in four years. In that role, he managed every aspect of the Congressman’s work both in the Legislature and Colorado.
Chris is grateful that our Country’s ideals and opportunities allow us to be the best that we can be, but he is aware that excessive government, especially from Washington, DC, tends to inhibit what we, ourselves, can accomplish to maximize our communities and our values.
A pillar of strength, serenity, and fortitude in even the most turbulent of circumstances, Chris will bring that same calm fortitude to fulfill his duties to the citizens of Colorado.
As it is greater to be a servant than to be served, Chris is grateful for the opportunity to represent your interests and asks for your support in the Republican Primary.
