CHRIS PHELEN PROVES A HIGHER CALIBER CANDIDATE NEARING COMPLETION OF 21-COUNTY BUS TOUR

CASTLE ROCK, CO. – Chris Phelen, Candidate for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, completed the first leg of his 21-county campaign tour last Friday after visiting eleven counties last week.

He starts the 2nd half of the tour this week, which will include stops in the ten southern counties, completing his campaign tour of the district in just over ten days.

“After 521 miles on the road last week, even a blizzard won’t stop us from completing the next 500 miles of our journey. We will keep our word to the people of the 4th District,” Phelen said.

In today’s crowded political primaries, telling candidates apart can be almost impossible due to similar platforms and values. Chris believes there is no substitute for meeting with citizens in their hometowns to help voters decide who to elect. For that reason, he plans to visit each county many times in the coming months and be a regular presence in all Communities in the District when elected.

Chris, his wife, Lainey, and two sons, ages 7 and 14, are excited to begin this new adventure. “It has been a blast so far. We consider it an honor to get to meet with the great people of the 4th District,” Lainey said.

“Our boys are the light of our lives, and we want to ensure a brighter future for them and all the children of Colorado. Throughout our 21 years together, I have continually been impressed with Chris’ eagerness to help others. Whether serving as Church Treasurer or on the PTA Board, coaching soccer, skiing, or rugby, or working with charitable organizations that help the under-served and disadvantaged — he inspires me every day.”

During the first leg of the bus tour, Phelen was invigorated by listening to the people he met and learning about their concerns, both broadly and specifically.
